1. Data Controller

Adriatic Motion, registered and operating in the Republic of Croatia, acts as the Data Controller for the personal data collected through this website. For any privacy-related requests or questions, please contact us at info@adriaticmotion.com.

2. Personal Data We Collect & Why

We collect only minimal personal data (specifically your name, phone number, and/or email address) in the following two circumstances:

  • Availability Inquiries: When you request a booking, we process your contact information to check availability with the Operator. The legal basis for this processing is taking steps prior to entering into a contract. This information is passed directly to the selected operator to facilitate your booking and is not kept on our active marketing systems once resolved.

  • Post-Rental Quality Assurance: Following your rental, we may contact you for a one-time evaluation of your experience. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate business interest to monitor the safety, technical compliance, and service quality of the independent Operators listed in our catalog. This is strictly operational, and no marketing materials or unsolicited promotional offers will ever be sent.

3. Data Minimization & Deletion

We take data protection seriously and follow strict data minimization standards:

  • Personal information and communication details collected through inquiries are used solely for processing requests, facilitating communication between users and service providers, and resolving any related issues. Such data is retained only for as long as necessary for these purposes and is permanently deleted or anonymized from our active systems no later than 30 days after the inquiry has been completed or resolved.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, lease, or distribute your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your contact information is shared strictly with the selected independent Operator (boat, vehicle, or equipment owner) whose services you are inquiring about, solely to complete your booking arrangement.

5. Your Legal Rights (Under GDPR)

If you are an EU resident, you hold the following statutory rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to Rectification: You can request that we fix inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can demand that we delete your data at any time.

  • Right to Object: You have the absolute right to object to us processing your data for our quality checks.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at info@adriaticmotion.com.

6. Regulatory Complaints

If you believe Adriatic Motion has processed your data unlawfully, you have the right to file a formal complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Croatia, this is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP) (www.azop.hr).
